Remember at the end of Deadpool 2 when Deadpool scored Cable’s time-traveling watch and went back to rewrite X-Men Origins? Remember when Wolverine’s consciousness got sent back in X-Men: Days of Future Past, and he messed with the X-Men timeline? Deadpool and Wolverine were traveling through time way before the TVA and the Quantum Realm, and they could potentially be some of the most significant characters in the Multiverse. Deadpool 3 won’t need to rewrite the timeline to include Logan, but there are a lot of timey-wimey things happening anyway. There’s a lot more to this announcement than you might think. But none of us could hear it due to the fact it was drowned out by the awesome sounds of WHAM!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.” Thank god the internet can read lips! They also told us what would be happening in their new film. Then we learned that Logan takes place in 2029 when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made their second video. Everyone got very excited but noticed that Wolverine died in the 2017 film, Logan. When Ryan Reynolds got on TikTok with Hugh Jackman, he might not have been expecting to break the internet just that much. Deadpool 3’s Wolverine announcement really shook up the MCU.
